Kevin is ALS’s lead Consultant, with hands-on involvement in all the firm’s work. Highly enthusiastic, motivated and pragmatic, Kevin is capable, versatile and commercial with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
With over 30 years’ legal experience, Kevin can provide his clients with access
to partner level expertise at the typical cost of a junior lawyer in private practice. Kevin specialises in Employment/Commercial Law advice for SMEs and individual employees and has supported both businesses and employees on a wide range of issues.
Kevin presents and defends cases at Employment Tribunals in a wide variety of claims, regularly handles Grievance, Disciplinary and Appeal hearings, carries out Mediation work, advises on Settlement Agreements and provides proactive advice on a range of employment and commercial issues.
Kevin’s clients appreciate his practical no-nonsense advice, his friendly approach and the flexibility that comes with working with a small dynamic and approachable legal consultancy. He has a 2:1 (honours) law degree from Sheffield University; he is married (to Juliet) and has three children and has the fortune to support Newcastle United!
Kevin and ALS provide an initial no-cost consultation to discuss your needs. Thereafter, Kevin’s hourly rates are extremely commercial (often at less than half of the cost of an equivalent in legal practice) and can be tailored to meet specific requirements
